Inspiration from the chandogya upanishad

 

“As a tethered bird flies this way and that,

And comes to rest at last on its own perch,

So the mind, tired of wandering about…

Settles down at last in the Self” (VI.8.2).

With these words a father explains the subtle mind to his son, Shvetaketu.  I find that the organic phrases found within the Chandogya Upanishad complement the vibrant character of the rainforest herself.
